Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport Parking

Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) offers a variety of parking options at the airport. Complimentary shuttles run between the Ground Transportation Center at both terminals and the on-airport parking lots, Green Lots.

Handicap accessible parking spaces are offered in all short and long-term parking areas.

Short-Term Parking at Detroit Metro Airport

Short-term parking is available in the McNamara Parking Garage located right opposite the McNamara Terminal building and in the Big Blue Deck located opposite the North Terminal. The rates are the same in both parking areas.

Long-Term Parking at Detroit Metro Airport

Long-term parking is available in both the McNamara Parking Garage in front of the McNamara Terminal and the Big Blue Deck in front of the North Terminal, as well as in the Green Lots located northeast of the terminals. Long-term parking is also referred to as Daily Parking.

Cell Phone Lots at Detroit Metro Airport

The airport has two separate Cell Phone Lots for greeters waiting to collect an arriving traveler from one of the airport’s two terminals. This is an option for those who do not want to park and wait inside the terminal. Driving around the airport to wait is not beneficial for the environment or the traffic around the airport, and it saves money for the driver to wait in the Cell Phone Lot.

When the traveler has collected their luggage and is ready for pick-up they can let the greeter know and they will be able to be on curbside in a couple of minutes.

The two Cell Phone Lots are located close to each of the terminals with one southwest of McNamara Terminal and the other northeast of North Terminal. It is free to wait in the Cell Phone Lots. Vehicles should not be left unattended.
